Mental Health Programs

Hip-Hop Healing Institute (HHHI) provides culturally grounded, trauma-informed group programming that supports engagement, stabilization, and skill-building. Our approach combines evidence-aligned practices with creative tools such as lyric writing, reflection prompts, guided expression, and structured group routines—designed to strengthen emotional regulation, pro-social connection, and functional participation.

Group support sessions

Structured groups that use hip-hop culture as a vehicle for engagement, expression, and skill practice. Groups focus on routine, regulation skills, communication, and accountability.

Individual support coordination

Practical support to help participants set goals, navigate resources, and connect with appropriate community or clinical services when needed.

Online workshops and creative sessions focused on wellness, routines, and community connection. These are not clinical services unless delivered under licensed partner coordination.

How We Measure Progress

HHHI uses a standardized Progress Rubric (and related tracking tools) to monitor consistency, participation, skill gains, and readiness milestones—supporting clarity for participants and consistency for staff and partners.
